2019 – Pathology in Review

Demand for pathology services is increasing; in 2019 SA Pathology received more than 3.1 million pathology requests and processed in excess of 5.6 million samples across more than 15 million tests. As the public pathology provider, we are proud to have provided services to over 625,000 South Australians across the state through our collection centres as well as Emergency Departments, hospital wards and hospital outpatient clinics.
